About

Topy is an independently curated directory that helps people discover and evaluate publicly reachable live television streams.

Last updated: July 19, 2026

What Topy does

Topy organizes public channel metadata into a searchable directory with cleaned titles, language and category labels, country information, original channel summaries, community favorites, and playback health reporting. The service is designed for discovery and evaluation, not for redistributing television programming.

What makes the directory different

Source playlists are only starting points. Topy reviews stream behavior, removes duplicate or misleading entries, corrects metadata, and records a recent verification image when a channel is successfully played. Recommendations combine region, language, community interest, and controlled randomness so the same channels do not dominate every visit.

What Topy does not host

Topy does not upload, copy, or store channel video. Playback normally connects the viewer's browser directly to the stream address published by the relevant third party. Channel names, logos, programs, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Our goal

We want to make a fragmented public live-TV ecosystem easier to inspect while giving viewers, broadcasters, and rights holders clear ways to correct metadata or request removal. Read our editorial and verification policy for the standards behind the directory.
